The Seatme knowledge base: merchant and front-of-house guides, plus release notes.

Seatme Docs is the knowledge base for Seatme, the ticketing platform for events, venues, and reserved seating. It explains how the product works, and it records what changed, in everyday language.

You do not need to read code, commit messages, or a deploy log. If a change affects how you sell tickets, take payment at the door, or support an event, it belongs here.

How a release note is filed

Notes follow the same path every time, so you can find a change without searching the whole site.

  1. 1

    Release notes

The main page explains how the notes are organised and lists the months.

  2. 2

    Month

Each month is its own page. Open it to see the dates when something shipped. The newest date is listed first.

  3. 3

    Date

The date page is the note. It says who the change is for, what changed, and what you will notice in Seatme.

The product these notes describe

Seatme sells tickets for live events. Merchants publish events and seating charts. Buyers choose seats and pay online. Box office and front-of-house staff sell at the door. The Seatme team supports all of that from the admin tools.
