Box office
Sell Seatme tickets at the venue, including after online sales close, and how each payment is recorded.
Box office is for selling at the venue. Owners, administrators, and event managers see it in the menu. External box office and door sales land on this screen when they sign in.
Front of house do not get a Box office button on Workspace. Their door sales are in Front of house.
What you can sell
- Tickets for events you are allowed to sell. A cart that mixes merchants you are not assigned to is blocked for external and front-of-house staff.
- Ticket types marked at the door only, only when that performance is today. Everyone else still sees the price in the legend, with "(at door)" after it, but cannot select it.
- The usual public ticket types, including after the public sales window has closed.
How the buyer pays

A coupon reduces the amount due. It is not a payment method. If the buyer still pays the balance on an external card machine, the sale stays a card-machine sale.
After the sale
The order is a normal paid order. Tickets go out when payment is recorded. On the order, a door sale can show who rang it up. Complimentary seats are a different flow: Comp tickets.
